Aberdeen City has offered to transfer the Cults Library building to the community. This may be our last chance to retain the building for community use, so the Community Council has submitted a notice of interest in this asset transfer on behalf of the community.
Owning or leasing and running a community asset is a huge undertaking and, if residents are interested in retaining the library building, a workgroup will need to be formed to study all aspects of this opportunity.
If you are still passionate about the loss of the library, and many of us still are, this is your chance to do something about it. Contact CBMCC if you are ready to take on organising the workgroup or if you wish to be included in the workgroup. Do this now or the chance to save Cults Library will be gone forever!
