Community Litter Picking
Litter is a global issue from which we are not immune in our local area. Whilst the local litter "problem" is not severe, occasional campaigns by volunteer groups help to make our immediate environment a bit cleaner. In past years the CBMCC have organised litter pick ups in conjunction with Community Councillors, members of the Rotary Club of Aberdeen Deeside and members of the public. Grabbers, gloves and bags were provided by Aberdeen City Council and areas covered included the Old Deeside railway line from Bieldside through to Pitfodels/ Station Road Pitfodels/ North Deeside Road from Pitfodels to Cults, around Cults Shops and the perimeter Road Cults Primary School. Please get in touch with the CBMCC if you, your friends, neighbours or community group would like to organise your own litter pick up. Be sure to tell the MBC News about your good deeds.
