25th Sep 2025 - Inchgarth Development Consultation

A reminder that CALA will present feedback on their public consultation process for the Inchgarth development at the September Community Council meeting on Thursday the 25th of September at 7pm at the Milltimber Community Hall (Blue Room).

30th Sep - 2nd Oct 2025 - Old Milltimber School Land

Kirkwood advises us that they will undertake some site investigation works on the former school site between Tuesday the 30th of September and Thursday the 2nd of October so residents may see some activity on site. These works will help inform the design that Kirkwood will look to consult on later in October (post school holidays). They plan to present their proposal at the Community Council meeting on the 27th of November. If there any questions, please contact planning@cbmcommunity.org.uk.

11th Oct 2025 - Convention of Community Councils

We will be present at a Convention of Community Councils of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Angus to be held at Stonehaven Town Hall on 11th October to discuss concerns about renewable energy projects and major energy infrastructure projects across the North-East of Scotland.

29th Oct 2025 -Kirkwood Homes Public Consultation on Development of Land at Former Milltimber School

Kirkwood Homes: Former Milltimber Primary School, Aberdeen
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that Kirkwood Homes is bringing forward
plans for a new residential development at the former Milltimber Primary School site, Monearn
Gardens, Aberdeen. As part of the proposals, we are hosting a public consultation event on
Wednesday 29 October from 3:30-7:30pm at Deeside Christian Fellowship Church (Binghill
Drive, Milltimber, Scotland, AB13 0JE).
Proposed development
The proposal is a residential development at the former Milltimber Primary School site,
comprising approximately 30 new homes, with seven allocated as affordable housing.
This development presents a unique opportunity to revitalise the former primary school site,
which has remained vacant for many years. We recognise the importance of making positive
progress here and intend to bring forward proposals that respond to that need, while also
delivering high-quality new homes that respect the character and setting of the area.
At Kirkwood Homes, we are committed to early and meaningful engagement with the local
community and key stakeholders. To support this, we will be holding a public consultation event
on Wednesday 29th October at the Deeside Christian Fellowship Church (Binghill Drive,
Milltimber, Scotland, AB13 0JE) from 3:30-7:30pm.
The consultation event will offer the local community a chance to view the proposals, speak
directly with the project team, and provide feedback. For those unable to attend in person, all
consultation materials and an online feedback form will be available on our dedicated project
