More Blooms in CBM
The More Blooms in Cults, Bieldside and Milltimber (MBCBM) project is an ongoing community initiative, managed by Community Councillor Cyril Bruce-Cathline. Twenty-four hanging baskets were purchased from Cove Bay Nurseries and installed by volunteers at various lampposts along the North Deeside Road. These are maintained and watered throughout the summer by local volunteers. MBCBM also maintain displays in 15 tubs and planters in Cults, 11 in Bieldside and 5 in Milltimber.
Donations are always welcome and essential to replenish the displays each year! Thank you!
Community Christmas Lights
ACC don't pay for our community Christmas Lights. Community Councillor Lindsay Davidson secured funding for the lights from the generosity of our local businesses and residents. Although we own the lights themselves, we have to pay for storage, maintenance, insurance, repairs, installation and removal, every year. We are continually fundraising to help secure the future of the Community Christmas lights. Please consider making a donation to the fund! Thank you!
Please get in touch if your local business is interested in sponsoring a light. For example, £150 would cover the cost of maintenance for one light for a year, or £600 would buy a new light including installation, storage and maintenance for its first three years. Any amount, big or small, would be greatly appreciated!
