Community Resilience Plan Community Resilience Plan Become a Resilience Volunteer View Resilience Plan Important Contact Numbers The aim of the CBMCC Resilience Plan is to provide a framework to use local volunteers, facilities, and equipment to assist the official emergency services in the event of a declared emergency within the community area. Expected emergencies would be - Floods (River Dee, feeder burns overflowing, standing water) - Severe weather (snow, ice, heavy rain, high winds) - Lengthy loss of utilities (gas, water, electricity), - Fires (domestic, residential, industrial or forest fires) - Major incidents involving transport (accidents, chemical spills, fires) - Disease control (Human and Animal - quarantine areas) The CBMCC wishes to recruit local community volunteers to join the CBMCC Resilience Team If you live in the local area and are aged between 16 and 75 and wish to volunteer, then we would like to hear from you.
