Christmas Carol Event
Cults, Bieldside & Milltimber Community Council present
Carols in Cults
As winter draws in and the festive season approaches, residents of Cults, Bieldside and Milltimber are warmly invited to gather for this year’s Carols in Cults.
📅 Monday, 8th of December
🕡 6:30pm
📍 In front of Cults Hotel
The evening will feature a joyful sing-along with the Silver Band and guest performer Fiona Kennedy Clark OBE DL. Seasonal refreshments will be provided, with hot soup from Cults Hotel and mince pies from Sainsbury’s.
This much-loved tradition promises to be a wonderful occasion for family, friends, and neighbours to come together and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.
We look forward to welcoming you!
The annual Christmas Carol event has been organised by the CBMCC and supported by the Aberdeen Deeside Rotary for many years. The Community Council owns Christmas lights that make a festive backdrop to the community carol singing event, usually held on the first Monday evening in December. Thanks to the local businesses that light them up for us!
Ministers from the local churches conduct the proceedings & song sheets are provided. Music has been provided by the Bon Accord Silver Band and Fiona Kennedy in previous years. A highlight of the event at "half time" is hot soup provided by the Cults Hotel and hot mince pies, which for the past two years have been provided by Sainsbury's Local and heated by Cults Parish Church members at the Hub Cafe. Over the past few years, donations collected on the night have been given to Voluntary Services Aberdeen (VSA).
