Your Place, Your Plans, Your Future
Community Planning Aberdeen partners are refreshing a range of plans and strategies which aim to improve the place you live.
We would like Aberdeen residents to participate and share your views and tell us what things are good now and what improvements you think would make our city and our neighbourhoods better in the future.
Why you should participate?
This single engagement gives everyone the chance to share their views and to shape multiple local plans and strategies at once. This includes the Local Housing Strategy, Integrated Joint Board Strategic Plan, Community Learning and Development Plan, Visitor Levy, Local Development Plan, Children’s Services Plan and the next Local Outcome Improvement Plan and Locality Plans.
The engagement looks at 14 themes, each focussed on one aspect of life in Aberdeen. These are the 14 themes from the Scottish Place Standard tool, which is used across Scotland to have conversations with people about the place where they live. It helps identify the strengths of a place and where improvements may be needed.
Have your say today – the Aberdeen City consultation is open until 18 May 2025:
