CMBCC Footpath Group Volunteering – Ladyhill Woods, Kirk Brae

The CBMCC Footpath Group helps to promote, maintain, and enhance local footpaths. We have compiled a schedule of volunteer working sessions throughout this year, and we would love it if local residents could help with cutting back overgrown vegetation and invasive species and doing some path maintenance. The Footpath Group has a selection of hand tools for volunteers to use on these tasks, or you can bring your own. The scheduled sessions start at 10am and last for three hours, but any time you can give when available would be much appreciated.

The Community Council welcomes volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.  Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and Individuals who have additional support needs must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  The Volunteers who run the outdoor volunteering activities are not qualified or insured to assist with children under 16 or individuals with additional support needs.  If you intend to come along to an activity with someone who falls under these categories, please contact the named activity leader ahead of the event to make them aware.
