ACC informed certain city southern wards on 27th March of their proposed implementation of the Scottish Govt’s strategy to ensure all roads in built up areas have a safer speed limit of 20mph by 2025. 87 residential roads have been identified in the CBM area where the new permanent 20mph limits will be imposed. In addition, Temporary Traffic Restriction Orders (TTROs) will be trialled on 5 sections of other roads. ACC are seeking informal initial feedback by 10th April before implementation.
