Bring the family to this sparkling event with lots of fun for all: tea/coffee, mince pies, face-painting, raffle. games, music, and of course our formal switch on of the Christmas lights.
To help the festivities along there will be a visit from Highland Alpacas , Aberdeen Choras singers and the main man himself Santa and his Tuc Tuk. The Community Council are also providing complementary Mulled Wine.
As usual the name of each sponsor will be displayed on a plaque on each lamp-post mounted light and acknowledged in the MBC News.
The Community Council were delighted to have secured a grant for £500 from Scot-mid, you will see the plaque outside the lamppost next to Scot-mid in Bieldside.
These sposored lights help to brighten up the heart of our community during the festive period; fostering good will and potentially attracting more people into our local businesses. The Community Council are committed to working with local businesses and stakeholders to create the best possible festive display.
Although we own the lights, we have to pay for storage, maintenance, insurance, repairs, installation and removal, we are now fundraising to help secure the future of Cults Bieldside Milltimber Christmas lights. If you enjoy the lights please consider making a donation to the fund via the link below.
We very much look forward to welcoming you and your family to this years Switch On Event on Saturday 21st November.
