Help fill 500 shoeboxes for those less fortunate – Rotary Club

Every year, Rotary Clubs throughout the UK fill shoeboxes to send to people in areas of Europe who are less fortunate than us to brighten up their Christmas. Most of these boxes are filled by Rotary members and their families but we are also fortunate to have the support of schools and other organisations. Boxes can be filled for babies, young children, teenagers, or households.

Once again Rotary Aberdeen Deeside (RAD) will be taking part and hope local schools and clubs might like to help us fill the 500 boxes we have. Kingswells Primary and Camphill School are already taking part, but we have plenty more boxes to fill if you or a club you are a member of would like to help us. Boxes need to be filled by the 11th of November so they can be sent to Eastern Europe in plenty time for Christmas.

If anyone would like to help us out, drop us a message at secretary@deeside.rotary1010.org and we will get a box(es) to you. If you take a box, we will let you know where to return it.
